WOLFGANG Dog Collar Sizing & Adjustment
WOLFGANG Webbing Collar Sizing
“How do we know which size of collar will best fit our beast?”
Following a couple simple steps can take away some of the guesswork:
MEASURE YOUR DOG'S NECK - The easiest way to measure is to use a sewing or tailor's tape. If you don't have that type of measuring tape, your dog's old collar, a shoestring, or even a dog leash can be used to wrap around the dog's neck and get a length...by measuring that length with a tape measure or a ruler, you will come up with a good neck measurement. Be sure to consider the dog's fur, and leave enough room for a couple fingers under the collar.
ORDER A COLLAR BASED ON THE MEASUREMENT - Using our size drop-down menu, pick the collar size that is closest to your dog's neck measurement. If your dog's neck measurement falls on a crossover size (for example 18"...our Medium is 12"-18" and Large is 18"-26"), decide if you want to be able to adjust smaller or larger than the measurement and pick the size accordingly.
PRO TIP: If your dog's neck measurement falls on a crossover size (like 18-inches, which is the top end of the Medium collar and the bottom end of the Large collar), you'll need to make a judgement call. Which way would you like the ability to adjust? Is your dog growing? If you think 18" may be a bit tight, go for the Large.
Through all of our adventures growing up in the west, the members of the Wolfgang team were constantly flanked by faithful, loyal, and furry best friends. While we were fishing, climbing trees, building skate ramps, or hanging out at home watching TV, those dogs were there as our partners, our guardians, our shadows. Neither they nor we would have had it any other way.
Career-wise we’re all product people, having been responsible for bringing thousands of products of all descriptions to market. Headphones to hoodies. Backpacks to boom boxes. Watches to wallets. Headwear to footwear. We’ve been lucky enough to work on some very cool products over the past couple decades.
As we laid the plans for what would become Wolfgang, we sought to combine two of our favorite things; our beloved dogs, and the process of creating world-class products.
Wolfgang was created to celebrate the unique relationship between a dog and his people. We offer American-made leashes and collars for your pup using only the finest American leathers and textiles, plus a distinctive collection of wallets, belts, and t-shirts for you.
We build our products domestically, transport them minimally, and they’ll be replaced rarely.
Both Nena & Co. and Wolfgang Man & Beast are committed to giving back to causes that matter to us. A portion of proceeds from the Antigua Collection will be donated to BriteBlue.org, a non-profit organization which provides 100% of its donations to scholarship funds for kids throughout Guatemala to help them stay in school from elementary grades through college. Unlike physical things that these kids could receive from a charity, an education will never break and it can never be taken away from them.
NOTE: Due to construction constraints, our leashes, collars and harnesses are not made using Nena & Co. textiles, but are printed to look extremely similar to them.
